Family Dreams Foundation is dedicated to providing opportunities and enrichment to families in need by exposing them to the arts and culture.
Our six to twelve months initiative program is designed to accelerate families' experiences through Arts & Culture, and to be linked to community resources throughout all Counties that will help build a stronger and positive generation of families in this 21st century.
Cultural arts, such as music, art, drama, creative writing, photography and dance, are some of the tools that help develop the mind and body, refine feelings, and thoughts and reflect and represent our customs and values as a society. Cultural arts help to explain the world in which we live through an exploration of creativity. If you don’t know better you can’t do better, by Maya Angelou.
Starting in January thru December selected families will have the opportunity of a lifetime to explore some amazing venues and activities that are not readily available to families that are in need.
Shirley Sutphin, Founder & President of Let’s Talk
Created in 1997 to educate, enrich, and empower women with the necessary intellectual and spiritual tools needed to achieve leadership positions in their communities—both in the business world and in their personal lives. Shirley is an enterprising woman with over 25 years of demonstrated marketing, sales, event management, and training expertise. She conducts seminars, workshops, and conferences encompassing staff development and supervision, project management, public relations, and fundraising. Training is often tailored to address specific subject areas or markets. She is dedicated to harnessing the potential and talents of individuals and organizations and developing a synergistic atmosphere where all thrive.
One of Shirley’s great accomplishments was in 2024 when she established her long-awaited 501(c)(3) non-for-profit organization “Family Dreams Foundation Inc”, which she is proud to share with you. Its mission is dedicated to providing opportunities and enrichment to families in need by exposing them to the Arts and Culture. Adding to her expertise, she is also a Life Coach. She loves helping people make progress in their lives in order to attain greater fulfillment. By improving relationships, careers, day-to-day living, and most importantly, balancing the creative mind with the need to produce results, she helps individuals reach their potential and achieve their goals.
Shirley is married to her high school sweetheart, Roy. They have two lovely daughters and four wonderful grandsons. She has traveled a portion of the world, and two of the most amazing places she has visited were Egypt and Hawaii. Egypt gave her a spiritual connection when she cruised the Nile River and experienced the amazing Pyramids, and Hawaii was breathtakingly beautiful. Her future travel dream is to have a fun ladies' getaway trip to Paris. She loves all birds, but her favorite is the Hummingbird. She also adores her sweet Havanese dog named Sugar.
